The mission of the University of Wisconsin Student Bar Association is to create an open, cordial and unified environment between the administration, faculty and students through the promotion of different social, cultural and academic events.

IT IS GIVEN THAT the Student Bar Council (SBC) is the official voice and representative body of the students of the University of Wisconsin Law School;
THAT this body is comprised of elected representatives and officers as described by the Student Bar Association (SBA) Bylaws;
THAT this and other similar bodies shall be referred to as a student council (SC); and
THAT an association of these SCs shall be termed a meta-council.
TO increase communication and organization between SCs;
TO form a MC through a MC initiative (MCI) with other SCs whose mission shall be to formalize this communication, ensure the power and rights of student councils are protected, and to expand student power and student voice; and
TO structure and govern the SBC and the SBA in the most effective manner and in accordance with the SBA Bylaws,
The SBC hereby endorses the spirit of the MCI and will commit reasonable resources to the achievement of these stated goals.
