The La Follette School Student Association serves students by hosting social events, connecting students to community service opportunities, fund-raising for and coordinating the graduation ceremony and reception, maintaining an avenue for student input into the MPA and MIPA programs, and providing current students with a connection to La Follette alumni.

LSSA meets regularly during the academic year and discusses and acts on topics ranging from faculty issues, alumni event plans, and social events to the school's graduation celebration, course work and fund-raising efforts. LSSA started publishing La Flog blog in June 2009 to share events and discussion; raise awareness about the La Follette School, the student association and policy issues students study; and to collaborate and interact.

LSSA will be joining the discussion on the MC in the spring term.
