The meta council's mission is to increase communication, organization, and cooperation between official representative student bodies at the UW-Madison affiliated with a school or college.

The meta council initiative shall be:

TO form an organization through student governments at the UW-Madison affiliated with a school or college whose mission shall be to formalize this communication, ensure the power and rights of student councils are protected, and to expand student power and student voice.

TO use our right as such student governments to structure and govern ourselves and our constituents as is most effective in the stated mission in a manner agreed on by their constituents.
